Great people never dies....
..Fortunately I along with my classmates got an opportunity of spending time hearing his lecture on sustainable cities . He had a great vision for India. Not only it’s cities but it’s underdeveloped villages also. He was talking about how rural urban migration could be mitigated by adopting an approach that would focus on making a cluster of villages self-sustaining. It would be done through proving urban amenities like good infrastructure for business and education etc.., doing something for skill development. He said that a city could evolve out of a village also. Reducing carbon footprint by moving towards solar energy was his massage for the new generation….it was a great experience…..I remind when a funny moment came when a person asked him about corruption in government sector…even he was continuing with his words he was asked to take an OATH simultaneously with Kalam sir that he would not do corruption in his private as well as public life.
His story will always remain incomplete without making reference towards his great efforts for education. Students will always love him…his inspiring books will always keep him alive. In his book ‘Ignited mind’ he writes about dream….he says that we should never stop dreaming …because dreams give us new vision…and the vision creates a new reality
